If there is one thing to say, Colony House knows how to rock.

The Cannonballers tour held excitement over the city of Fayetteville up until the band stepped onto stage. Making this yet another tour through Fayetteville, Colony House has become accustomed to playing George’s Majestic Lounge. Their local following knows it, too. As I spoke with the audience, most said they have been following the band’s because of their concerts and their vibe.

I find that one can tell a lot about a band based on their following and how they interact with their crowds. The Colony House following is extremely warm and friendly, and members were there to appreciate the music, not fight to get to the front of the crowd. Even if the show is packed, crowd and seat placement will not hinder anyone’s experience because the band will do everything in their power to reach the last person in the very back of the concert hall they inhabit.

Lead singer Caleb Chapman participated in the audience by running through the crowd and dancing on tables with the band’s fans. Chapman even called a crowd member on stage to play guitar for their fan-favorite song 2:20.

They ended the concert with an encore delighting fans and leaving them dancing on the venue’s floors up until the last note ended. They are welcome in Fayetteville anytime and in the words of Colony House, “Fayetteville, stay majestic.”

Rated nine out of ten.
