Conan Gray brought his Wishbone World Tour to Fort Worth, Texas on March 10th, 2026.
This was considered Gray’s hometown show as he grew up in nearby city Georgetown. The Wishbone World Tour supports his fourth studio album, Wishbone. Before this, Gray held the Wishbone Pajama Show Tour. Now, he’s back with an upgraded stage (turned into giant wishbone catwalks), and a bigger setlist.
Originally, I had lost the Ticketmaster war for this show. But thankfully a few weeks before, additional side view tickets were released. My sister and I ended up impulsively buying tickets, and I’m so glad we did. We may have (allegedly) snuck down from the nosebleeds to the lower bowl (Sorry Dickies…) We got to see Gray hiding behind the curtains and his team prepping him for his stage marks. Although we didn’t get the full theatrical experience of the props from the side, we got a super close view of Conan.
Opening for the show was 19-year-old Esha Tewari. The Australian singer lit up Dickies Arena with her wit, haunting vocals, and fans’ flashlights. She made a few yee-haw-texas jokes before singing her most popular tracks. You could tell she had a close connection with her.
After the wave went around the stadium a few times, Conan ended the pre-show playlist with the song “Bad idea right?” a track by his best friend Olivia Rodrigo. The lines “I know I should STOP” rang throughout the arena as the cabin lights cut to black.
The show has four acts. There was even dialogue incorporated from his music videos to fill the silence in between acts. Which made for a cohesive storytelling adventure.
Act 1: a wishbone never breaks even
If this show was lacking anything, it wasn’t props. From a windmill, to a mailbox, to grass and fog machines. Gray rode onstage on a bicycle and grabbed his microphone from the mailbox. This act featured the songs “My World”,”Never Ending Song”,”Care”, and “Wish You Were Sober”. All of which had the crowd jumping and gutturally screaming
So naturally he grew tired. It’s a good thing he takes a nap onstage for the next act.
Act 2: i got the short end of the stick
To start this act, Gray strips from his sailor costume revealing his sparkling striped pj set and jumps into bed. Slowing things down, Gray sang “Class Clown”, “People Watching”, “The Cut That Always Bleeds”, “Eleven Eleven”, and”Nauseous”. For this act, he rolled out the farm decor and brought in cloud props and a queen sized bed. He filled the stage with smoke and created a dreamy atmosphere to bed rot in. He started by singing in bed and ventured off as the act progressed. Then, he threw on a cloak and headed down the right leg of the wishbone. Gray introduced the next segment in the act, “Conan’s Campfire”. During this, Conan slowed the show down by singing an acoustic song on guitar by a campfire. He chooses a new surprise song that’s not on the setlist every night, so fans have a chance to hear older work. For this show, he played “Idle Town” off of his debut EP, Sunset Season. This song is about his hometown; talk about full circle. He sang, “Yeah, I think that we’ll all be okay, The idle town will stay as it stays. And everyone I love’s in this place (In our idle town).” It was nice to hear this song with his mature voice, considering it was his debut single.
Act 3: i took the long way to realization
Conan changed into a red flowy top and sang an unreleased song called “The Best” (and it seriously was), “Romeo”,”Heather (Lost Verse Version)”, “Family Line”, “Connell”.
For the second surprise song, Conan chooses a fan to break a wishbone with. He puts two songs on the screen and whoever gets the long end gets to choose. For this show, Conan chose two special fans.
After hugging them, he explained to the crowd that the two fans were the first people in line for his first ever show. They got the long end and chose “The Exit” off of his Sophomore album, “Superache”.
Act 4: i wished for love and i found it
This act featured “Actor”, “Maniac”, and “Vodka Cranberry”. Gray hit his iconic high note during Vodka Cranberry which was “totally the last song” he said while running backstage to change outfits.
Encore
After many chants (one of which I started), he came back out in a head-to-toe blue bedazzled captain’s uniform. For the final songs, he sang “Memories” and closed with confetti during “Caramel”. My favorite thing about this concert was that he repeated most of the choruses during his scream-along-songs, giving me a chance to crash out even more.
Shoutout to the security guard who allowed us to go backstage and grab extra confetti. This night burns inside my memory so well. If you have a chance to see him, don’t miss the opportunity.
